I don't know if you can see it here or not, but Sarah's nose has an orange tint. I had always noticed it, but forgot to mention that last time she went to the doctor, the doctor told Ben good job on the orange nose! It's a sign of a healthy diet in babies, specifically beta carotene from carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, etc. Anyway, Go Gerber.
I stayed home today with this big, busy girl! It was a nice day. She got up about 9 and we just hung out all day. I got some projects done, she took a little nap, ate a lot, and jumped in her jumperoo. She also reached for many forbidden things! :)
But, it was really fun and I was singing to her a little before I put her in her crib, she started singing with me "Jesus Loves Me." It was really sweet. I could smell her baby shampoo and her room was dark and it was just really, really sweet!
She is really growing fast. Can you believe this little hair do? I love it! I haven't had it cut and it seems to finally be taking on somewhat of a shape, so I will just leave it alone. We have 19 days of school left and I get to to to a workshop Friday afternoon. That couldn't be more perfect! Do you know that in my six years with my district, I have never missed an instructional day due to inservice? Why not? I was so glad when the art teacher found one we could go to. We are really looking forward to a change of routine!
I saw the title and thought...CARROTS! Ha! I'm glad the doctor gave you kuddos. I cannot believe school is almost out. I'm ready for our tiny break. I go to two workshops on Monday/Tuesday. I would MUCH rather be at school...gag! No fun for me.
